E3D Block & Sock - V6 Upgrade kit
I have recently upgraded my 3D printer to the new hotend block. I am hoping that someone that has recently received a prebuilt MK2 could post some detailed pictures of how the thermistor connector fits on the back and underside of the X-Carriage. I think I saw something like this in one of the review videos, but since I didn't start with the new cartridge thermistor, I have no clue how this is supposed to be routed.

I did the same a couple of weeks ago and had the same issue. I managed to wedge the cable connector in the groove where the heater cable passes through and the thermistor plug will fit with sufficient slack cable to attach the socks.

I was not that patient, so I cut the connectors and soldered the wires directly, then covered by shrink tube. 🙂

Step 31, option 1. It may be my eyesight, but pictures 2 and 3 appear to show that the connector has been modified a little...

I looked at the updated manual, but the photo doesn't show enough detail for me. I think I'll go forward to modify the X-Carriage so that the connector fits inside it.
