Construction issue when building my i3 MK2
While building my i3 MK2 I came across two issues with the extruder body:
I have continued with the construction in the hope that the machine will work sufficiently well that I can print replacements. Question is, is this a viable thing to do or should I request replacement parts?

Same thing happened to me, but mine was broken already in the bag. That tiny bit however doesnt cause any issue, you printer will work the same with ot without it. Dont think a replacment is needed. Not printed one or requested one either. you will be fine 😉
Re: Construction issue when building my i3 MK2
Thanks for the feedback. Did you have the "crack" issue (the circle on the left) as well? Just looks as though it might cause some degradation in something or other.
Re: Construction issue when building my i3 MK2
The part cracking is usually caused by the use of a too long screw (2mm too long); it's a mistake which was quite a common one.
The part can be welded with acetone.

Thanks: PRUSA have just come back to me and said they'll send replacement parts so I think I'll play safe and wait for those to arrive.
