slic3r toolchange retraction value?
Hi, I've been experimenting with multi material/multi-colour with slic3r and been having trouble with it. I used it on a custom machine as I didn't have the MM yet (coming soon).
I used the "retract on toolchange" for the custom printer and it does retract to the amount that I specified. But the printer will then push the filament back in again, then retracts the filament to a set number of length. This is the part where the toolchange occurs.
With this, changing to another colour, led to filament jam for the second extruder as the first filament didn't get retracted far enough to give clearance for the other one.
Any ideas? 🙂
