Multiplexer not multiplexing?
Anyone,
I just did the multi-upgrade on an MK2S. When I go to load filament from the control screen, I can choose any one of the loaders. However, no matter which I choose, the loader #1 motor runs. I am meticulous but I could have made a mistake. I have reloaded the firmware 3 times and I have remade all my connections 3 times. It's as though the multiplexer board doesn't multiplex. I was very careful not to touch the board chips and to make sure I was well grounded.
What to try now?

Re: Multiplexer not multiplexing?
Which firmware version have you loaded?
Are you sure you have connected to the correct pins on the RAMBo P3 header?

Re: Multiplexer not multiplexing?
This happened to me also. The issue was that I had connected the control lines to the MUX incorrectly on the RAMBO board. I was slid over one pin.
Please check that the multiplexer connection (Not the extruder) is connected correctly. That fixed it for me.

Re: Multiplexer not multiplexing?
I checked my firmware 3 times. I checked my connections 3 times. Out of frustration I unplugged everything and started over a week later. Magically, it works now! 😯
I must have had something plugged in wrong, after all. Thank you to all who responded to help.
