E3D 12V Prusa MK2 V6 Hot End Pre Assembled help needed?

Received a E3D 12V Prusa MK2 V6 Hot End Pre Assembled.

Step 8 : shows the hotend completley exposed so as to removed with needed nose pliers. see pic: instructions
My printer shows another cover obstructing full exposure of the hotend (see pic: Mine) Are there additions instructions how to remove in order to have full access to?
