MK3 isn't recognizing MMU2 and MMU2 motors won't respond to buttons.
I set up my MMU2 and have everything connected but it's not recognized by the MK3. I also tried to load the filament from the MMU2 but the motors wouldn't move at all. I've tried to find a solution but have so far been unsuccessful. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you see any light on the MMU?
Does it 'home' when you try to do a filament load?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'home' but I tried to load the filament using the buttons on the MMU2 but the selector didn't move at all.

Have you updated the printer firmware?
If not, it doesn't know the MMU2 exists
there is also MMU2 Firmware to check and update if necessary

I updated the firmware on the mk3 and mmu2 and I have reflashed it a couple times based on some troubleshooting tips.

When you do a filament load to the extruder, the motors will spin to put the large cylinder to the correct position and the selector motor will juke around a bit and then 'home' to the left, and seek the correct filament to load. I think of this action as a 'yes, it is working' sign.

Oh ok so this is actually what I tried to do and the lights worked but the motor never moved.
