i3 MK2 print cooling fan not working
Dear forum members,
Let me first of all start this post by wishing you all, wherever you are, a fantastic new year!
I have been given an i3 MK2 printer which overall works OK, but sometimes the quality of the printing output is not very nice / sharp.
Looking at it closely, i have noticed the bigger fan in front of the printer, used to cool down the plastic when printed, does not work. I assume this is not normal...
I have tried to switch the 2 fans on the motherboard, and was able to confirm the fan itself is working fine (in that case, the noozle fan is stopped and the print cooling fan works)...
Would someone know if there is something that can be done, or if this means there is an issue with the motherboard?
Thanks for your help 😜

Thanks for the wishes, you too!
Have you ever tried the Self Test? Do both fans rotate then?
If it doesn't help, check the wiring on the mainboard again - maybe it has a defect.
I hope I was able to help you
