Strange pattern!

Strange pattern!

Does any one know what is causing this strange pattern that is going on here. Nothing shows on the screen, and when I print it, it look like this. I have tried slowing the print...doing detailed vs. optimal. I don't know what else to try!

What layer height are you printing at? The layers that look like a topographical map are the inevitable result of the FDM printing process. You'll always get some stair-step effect between layers, but using finer layer heights can help to a point.

If you'd care to share a link to the STL we can take a look at it, but largely flat surfaces like that with small height increases will show some stair-step effect.
