Z issues

Hi All

I am having issues with my Z lately. It always seems to be digging and furrowing my first layer. I made several attempts to re-calibrate everything, even changed my Nozzle and PEI sheet. calibration works well, good first layers on all my calibration squares. However when I try to print a model, the digging and furrowing happens again. I am at my wit's end and don't know what else to try

RE: Z issues

Which printer model? Please post pictures of the successful first layer calibration and the failed print. (you can attache via the "Add Media" Button and directly insert into the post after upload, no need for external picture hosting) Also save your slicer project, zip it and attache via the Button below the edit window.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
Find out why this is pinned in the general section!

RE: Z issues

- so my live z is good, first layer is perfect. sides as well after bed level correct although my left and front sides have to be near -50 so some reason, but whatever

- print object, terrible first laver, adhesion is bad, gouging, furrowing

- more live Z and bed level again, individually. centre, then right side, then left side, then front, then back, all perfect or pretty darn close

- try again a test print with centre and all sides simultaneously and horrible first layers again

been printing fine for months... took a bit of a break due to time constraints, now this

5 years I've had this thing and never had this issue or level of frustration
