First layer and broken parts

This is really frustrating and disturbing.

First I noticed today, that quite some printed parts of my MK2s are cracked. The printer is just five years old, I'm really disappointed.

But that's not the reason why I writing. Recently I started to have problems with my first layer:

This is right after a complete calibration. You can see where I did Live-adjust. So far, so good. But when I do the same print again, I'm back to where I started. With each print I have to increase (or decrease, since it's negative) the z-adjustment by about 0.5mm (I have a 0.6mm nozzle). And it's the same both for PETG (this picture) and PLA.

I found another old thread, where just recently someone wrote that his hotend was loose. I checked mine, it seems fine. Yet seeing the cracks in the printer's parts, I wonder, if this might be related.

So I'd like to ask you guys, if anyone experienced similar issues, both the printing issues and the cracked parts, and if anyone found a solution for the weird behavior of the first layer.

As for the cracks, I'm really sad and a bit angry, I would have expected a better quality. And since I can't print anymore, I can't print new ones.

Today

So I just did a G80, and got a "Sensor didn't trigger", and the nozzle actually touched the printbed. Seems there is something wrong with the PINDA. That's at least a hint, I will investigate.

Solved - probably

I moved the cable for the PINDA a bit out of the bundle, and look at that - problem solved (for now). I really wonder, why is this such a sensitive construction? I'd still like to know, if someone else had similar problems and a similar solution.

RE: First layer and broken parts

I got a similar problem a few years ago. The PINDA cable got a broken wire. Just jiggle the cable a bit part by part and cut away the faulty bit. Then just solder the wire's together again.
