Did my PINDA die?
Yesterday all the sudden I started having issues with my live Z height. So I readjusted it and tried again, same thing, had to move closer to bed, so after looking everything over I noticed the PINDA screws was loose. Tightened them, redid XYZ calibration and then readjusted live Z and got it to print 1 part. Today I try to print something and the live Z was off again. Kept moving it down until it looked right, then reset, cleaned the bed, and started again... SAME DAMN THING, had to move live Z. Finally gave up. Went from -.3mm yesterday to -3.5mm today and gets worse every try.
PINDA is tight and not moving anymore after I tightened it, so what is changing? 😡

Hi Randy.
on the Mk2s, there is an issue where the pinda can be temperature sensitive
try moving your extruder to 60mm or there abouts, before you start heating for your next Live Z adjustment,
then move your extruder to 60mm before you heat for your next print.
and it should work as expected...
if you always start about 60mm above the build plate you should mitigate the thermal sensitivity!

I will try that, but the question is why did this just start happening after over a year without a single problem? I have never had to worry about where the extruder was in that past.
