Bed Can't maintain 90C
Hi all,
I've had my MK2 for almost 2 years now and it has worked flawlessly. Today I went to print something and I walked away. I came back to a Heatbed Thermal Runaway error. I was running Octoprint and I saw that the temp recording hit 90 and then couldn't maintain it. I manually set the temp to 90 and it seemed to be fine so I tried printing again, but same thing happened (see image link below). I did a quick search and saw people have problems with the wires connecting the bed, so I checked them and they seem fine. I also checked the connection on the Rambo board and also seem fine. I watched the heatbed LED and it seemed to be acting normal (steady on when heating, blinking when maintaining).
While I was writing this I decided to manually set the temp to 90C and it's maintaining it no problem. See image below. I even went as far as moving the bed back and forth to see maybe it's a connection problem and it seems to not have affected anything.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Adding 3 images of the Thermistor connector on the board. The connector housing seems to be damaged, but the wire itself looks to be fine. If this is the problem, where would I be able to find a new connector?
EDIT 2: Today I tried printing again and the same thing started happening. So to avoid a thermal runaway error I kept lowering the temp during the print, until I hit 80C which I noticed it was able to maintain. Then I switched it back up to 85 and finally 90 and while it took a while for it to reach those temps, it actually was able to hit them. Which leaves me even more confused than before. Now that the print is over, I set the bed to 90C and again it has no problem maintaining that temp. So strange!
