PID-Tuning
Im planing to do PID tuning, what temperature im going to tune, the one of the first layer (230) for PETG of (240) other layers?
Re: PID-Tuning
I did for the remaining layers, so in your case 240.
Works fine for me.

Re: PID-Tuning
i usually use 240 as i go back and forth between different materials and it is in the center for temperatures.

Re: PID-Tuning
You can do PID tuning for every material you use and put it your GCODE start script.
Unfortunately I'm not in front of my PC so i can not show you how to do that.
I bet someone else will fill in here

Re: PID-Tuning
M301 command is doing the trick. As long as you don't write it to EEPROM with M500, it's only valid for the session.
