Here I am, ordered April 16th (orange and black kit) and still nothing :/

Hang in there. Prusa has to make sure our US orders are wrapped in that black plastic so they don't get wet on the boat ride over to the US 😆 so that takes a little longer 😉
Never refreshed my email so many times until now, feels like opening my refrigerator except I hope to see a surprise every time. 😆

I also placed my order for an Orange and Black on the 9th. I'm thinking the shipping email should be any day now.

I think sites like kickstarter have re trained us a bit to give some money up front and be willing to wait for a long time. I admit I was a bit surprised when it charged my CC right away instead of just putting a hold, or waiting until it got ready to ship. But from a small business standpoint, I can see how it would be much easier to use the incoming funds right now, instead of changing the process when the lead times do come down.

I got my printer last week which is exactly the week that they said that it would arrive. I am now 4 hours into the build and it is looking a lot like a printer. Another 2 hours and I think it will be complete.

I have a question for people, Do you think prusa will reduce lead times soon? Having recently moved into a new HQ and Jo posting a photo of the new print farm I'm tempted to say that they will be able to reduce the lead time from 7 weeks. What is your opinion? Will lead times stay the same? Increase? or decrease?

Obviously all of this will be speculative but It gives us something to talk about while we wait 🙂 All opinions welcome!

the picture shows an empty room with huge racks and only one printer, it is going to take them time to move with out stopping production, or the will stop production to do a quick move, in either way lead time are staying as is for a quite a bit, IMHO.

Update: It's been 48 hours since I received my shipping notification for my orange kit ordered April 6th, heading to the West coast of the US.

Still no movement and not picked up by UPS. In the US, UPS doesn't pick up on weekends, so I'm hoping they pick up early next week. 😥

The wait continues 😉

Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

first Post and a little vent.
I completed the expected and former shown 7 Week "Hell of Patience" Yesterday.
The Updated List shows "from June 5". Let´s hope for the best.

During the 7 Weeks the List has been updated twice, both beeing a Week behind.
I see some Room for improvement there.

What i see over the Forums and FB Groups, a lot of people seem to be kinda pi**ed over the entire Ordering Process.
Some buy other Brands instead, some still buy Prusa Printers but tell everybody how the feel about the Lack of Information.
A Friend of mine wanted to buy a MK2s too but didn´t just because of the old Shipping information shown in the shop.
At the Time he was ready to Order, the "now shipping" Week was 3 or 4 Weeks behind so he thought he would have to wait 13 to 15 Weeks + another Week of transit to get one.
He simply threw his Dollars at a Different Company, waited 2 Days and started printing.
And even though he can´t compare he is sure to have the better Printer.

This could really affect a Companys Reputation.

Every Buyer gives a huge amount of Trust paying the full price up front without even getting a confirmed shipping Date at the Time of the Order.
After the Order there is nothing until you get your shipping Mail.
Another Part that could be improved pretty easy.

Nevertheless i´m still looking forward to Printer #3. Shouldn´t take too long now.

I ordered the kit with black printed parts on April 9th as well - almost on the point of 8 weeks lead time now...
I am so hoping it will ship anytime soon. Got the idea from reading this topic that Prusa might be catching up a on the black kits but looking at the shipping schedule I'm not so sure, could as well take a while longer..

This will be my first printer so I really do hope it will be worth the wait in the end!

My printer shipped on the 29th and I received it on the 2nd. I am in central US. Customs only took about 12hrs for me

UPS plane carrying my gummy bears just landed Changi Airport Singapore around 8:40am from ShenZhen China. Scheduled to deliver tomorrow.

Luckily my friend swapped with me because he is not around for 2 weeks. His shipment was on May29 or 28 and mine is Jun12(still pending).

I received shipping notification 4 days ago....UPS still only shows 'label printed'....I'd like to think that it's secretly moving, but I don't think UPS has picked it up yet...or it hasn't been dropped of with UPS yet....sigh 🙁

Probably they will pick up your stuff on Monday. Mine took 3 days before they pick up. Shipping notification Monday then picked up Wednesday.

I suspect too many order that UPS can't cope up with pick up.

My package have just arrived. I thought it's gummy bears that they will include. It's Haribo Rainbow Fizz. I want to assemble it now but my wife wants to do the assembly. Well... still need to wait for another 4 hours.

Been a lurker here since I ordered it on April 14th.

Since I'm West Coast US I'll probably deal with a similar situation like you, Robert B. Currently no shipping notification yet, but really hoping to have it EOW.

The first 6 weeks were a breeze, but now that it's so close I've been staring at the models I want to print and filaments online Q__Q
Really excited for this to be my first 3D printer, though.

edit: Oh and to clarify I ordered a Black kit but talked them into sending me whichever color was available first :/ (Let's hope they stick to their word with their note)

I received my Prusa eMail stating 'Package in transit!' on May 31st, it's now June 5th and UPS still just shows
"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

Don't let the initial "Package in transit!" get your hopes up too high, too quickly. I'll keep you posted on my progress ❓

Yeah, my label was printed on May 17th, but still no movement.

Ordered on April 17th, arrived June 1st. (Orange / Black Assembled). Central U.S. Wasn't expecting it yet so I was pleasantly surprised.

Yikes!!! what's their explanation? I just check in with Chat and they said I will ship 'today', which is Tuesday (tomorrow) for me. pretty much shoots down my chances of having a kit to put together this weekend. 😡

I purposely ordered the kit thinking I'd have it well before what looks like a busy June. My hope is now that anyone is home to be able to sign for it when it comes 😕 (leaving town end of next week)
