P.I.N.D.A sensor failure on 4th Z calibration 4th stop

So I  have a an i3 MK2 and have done minimal printing on it. Initially it ran great then it was packed up for the summer when school was out and when restarting the printer, the PINDA sensor failed letting extruder touch the bed n multiple spots. I reset everything and checked the machine then began to recalibrate. During Z calibration the PINDA sensor did not trigger and the extruder nozzle pushed hard into the bed leaving a visible dent. Now it will not make it past that point in Z calibration. Is there any way to fix this or do you I need to buy new parts? I have tried a few different things but with no success. I am new to these and just looking for some ideas. I included a picture of the bed and a video of the problem.

Thanks Tony

Hi Tony,

Sorry for the long delay, I hadn't see this before.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but if the burned spot is only in the PEI sheet you can remove and replace it, you can get the part here: https://www.prusa3d.com/product/pei-ultem-sheet/

The instructions to replace it are here: https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/replacing-the-pei-sheet-on-the-mk3s-mk3-mk2-5s-mk2-5_23920/

Cheers

I grabbed the wrong instruction set, it's mostly the same instructions, but this is for the MK2. https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/replacing-the-pei-sheet-on-the-mk2-s_23528
