Please can someone help with printing flexible filament on my MK2.5s please? I am having problems

Hi,

Can someone please help really struggling to print flexible filament on my my Mk2.5s, this is the result below, all these gaps all the time and slight popping sound from extruder.

I have changed the temp from 190 to 250, Z heights, speed of print from 40 to 100 on the display and adjusted the bond tech gear friction from nothing to tight on the filament.

I still cannot print flexible filament, I am beginning to wonder if my filament has water in it, but I live in a very dry country? Its not cheap filament either!

Hope someone with flexible experience can help please?

Thank you

Andy

I recently upgraded both my printers to the 2.5S and subsequently had to reprint all parts again because the filament path was not correct on the factory parts.  I was going to remodel them all but found someone had already done it on My Mini Factory.

I know flex filament is critical with regards to filament path so it could be a contributing factor to your problem.

I know flex filament can also be susceptible to absorbing moisture so if you are getting popping sounds then it sounds like you need to dry it out.  Unless you live where the humidity is in low single figures then you will need to store the flex filament appropriately to avoid it absorbing moisture.
