thankx

Don't bother with gcode, it's no use to us.  Instead send a .3mf file:

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

Cheerio,

looks like the file must be a zip file to upload.

Place the object on plate as follows, then you don't need support.

aah ok thankx... so even though slicer places the object in a default position doesn't mean you should not change that position to accommodate support... thankx

interesting when slicing in that orientation still shows message saying

RE:

Ok my mistake.

Didn't see that the three intermediate pieces ran to the bottom.

But no problem then you put the object down on the bed as follows.

Do i ignore to enable supports: everywhere, build plate only, or enforcers only?

RE:

Forget my previous answer, place the object as previously indicated.

Use the default (unmodified settings) 0.20mm layer height. You don't need any support!

I agree with  @ronyd's final orientation & no support.  0.2mm layers will be suitable.

This part is not well designed for 3D printing, the narrow gaps make support difficult and hard to remove and the tastefully rounded corners are both too small to support and overhang too much for clean printing - but it should print a useable part.

RE: confused on Enabling Supports for this model?

For a little more detail: PrusaSlicer puts the object onto the bed in the same orientation as it was in whatever CAD software was used to make it. Some people consider this when designing their parts, some do not.

When I design my own parts, I ensure that in CAD the part I want to be on the printbed is sitting on the XY plane, and the rest of the part extends up the positive Z-axis. When exporting as STL and loaded in PrusaSlicer, it'll be in the orientation I want it to print already. And my personal goal while designing parts for FDM printing is to design them such that supports are not required.

Thankx for that important tip.  Always wondered if  the object is placed  as a default for the slicer.
