Printer Heat Bed Inverted Temp Spikes

I've been printing with my printer lately to get some things made up and I'm running into a really odd issue. The image attached shows the heat bed temperature dropping 55C from 90C to 35C while printing PET. I was down there with a laser thermometer and the bed seems to be fine from what I can tell and my prints have been fine. I don't actually think the temperature is dropping like the graph shows as it just spikes right back up and even the display panel at the printer shows the numerical drop, even though it appears to be working just fine. I've noticed it on most of my recent prints over the last week but I have had a print or two where it seemed pretty steady and consistent throughout the print.
I've been using a combination of Thingiverse STL files and my own STL files using the Prusa Edition slicer and the baked in PET settings. I had to do some live Z height changes at the start when I switched from PLA to PET but it seems to be working just fine.
I can't think of anything else that could be causing an issue here but it would be great to get thoughts on what my problem might be that's causing the printer to think the temperature of the bed is dropping so quickly and rising back up.
It's not drafty in the basement and is a pretty consistent 75F down there.
Thoughts anyone?

Possible issue with your heatbed thermistor and / or its cabling. Check it is still attached correctly, and check if it reads correctly by heating it with a hot air gun. Replace / repair as indicated.

Good luck!

Thanks! I'll have to give that a try, although now it looks like my Pinda had moved due to some issue and I'm going to have to do some more work on getting that fixed again.

Just as a follow up, it's possible the cabling was being pinched or something. I had to re-mount my PINDA and made sure nothing with obstructing the cables, even just a bit, such as my OctoPi USB cable touching the heated bed cables, and that generally seems to have solve most of my problems. I saw a couple of spikes but over a several hour print, I haven't had an issue so far.
