Mk2s to Mk2.5s Upgrade Kit Install

Around 2 years ago I picked up a used Mk2s on craigslist. It was in pretty bad shape, bearings needed to be thoroughly cleaned and lubricated, the bed was very messed up with chunks of PEI missing. I was unable to get a successful print off the printer due to bed leveling issues. I ordered the Mk2(s) to Mk2.5(s) printer upgrade kit from Prusa before it was discontinued. I printed all of the required printed parts using Polymaker PC Max using my Lulzbot Mini 1, but when I started the assembly of the upgrade kit, the tolerances of the printed parts were too far off to be used. After that point I got quite busy and gave up on the project, it's been sitting as a pile of parts since then. I am hoping to find someone who can help me get this project finished. I'm on the east-coast of the US near Washington DC. I'd be happy to pay someone for their time to re-print the upgrade parts and help me finish up the assembly.

I did the Mk2 to Mk2.5s upgrade, it's pretty involved, you replace both the bed and the print head.  Have you considered doing the bed first and print the new parts with the print head as it is?  As you state it it sounds like a new bed may give you a function printer.  My Mk2 gave me many great prints before I performed the upgrade and the biggest gain in rebuilding the print head was getting the filament run out sensor.

Also, after I upgraded the print head I had to put a silicon sock on the hot end as the new part cooling system was too aggressive and would cause my nozzle to go too cold and give me a thermal shut down.

I'll keep that in mind, right now I have a silicon sock on it and that solved the problem.
