MK2S->MK2.5, MMU1, MMU2 - which order?
Good evening everyone,
I am a proud owner of an MK2S. In addition I have the MMU1 upgrade still in the box (i.e. not yet installed) and also the MK2.5 upgrade kit still in the box (i.e. not yet installed). I understand that those two upgrades would enable me to also get and install the MMU2.
What I do not quite understand, though, is the exact order of these three upgrades. Do I have to install the MK2.5 first, then MMU1 and MMU2? Or first the MMU1, then the MK2.5 followed by the MMU2?

Actually you need to decide which upgrade you want to install. Following combinations are possible:
1. MK2S + MMU1
2. MK2.5 + MMU2
So in your current setup one of the upgrade boxes can't be used.

As have the MMU1 upgrade available it concluded from the shop page that I can use the upgrade kit from MK2 MMU to MK2.5 MMU2. Having also cast a look into the online manuals it seems that in essence I have to first upgrade my single-material MK2S printer to MK2.5 and then install the MMU2 as a combination of parts from the MMU1 kit for the MK2 + the MMU2 upgrade kit (MK2 -> MK2.5).
Does this sound right?

Correct. You need in addition this MK2S->MK2.5 upgrade kit and this MMU1 -> MMU2 upgrade kid
End result will be MK2.5 with MMU2
