THERMAL RUNAWAY

Hello,
i have recently upgrade my MK2S to MK2.5S. Sometimes i have a "thermal runaway error", it dépends on models i print. I have found in troubleshooting database that this error occurs when the temperature readout of the hotend drops by 15°C for more than 45 seconds, and it's just what happens.
It seems that with the 2.5 upgrade, so with bondtech extruder and inclinaison of fan, the hotend isn't able to rise 220° with fan at 100%. If i use automatic parameters in slicer, it fails at second layer because fan start at 100%.
Is there a fix for this issue ? or i must modify fan speed each time ..?
Thank you
David.

RE: THERMAL RUNAWAY

Install a silicone hot-end sock.

RE: THERMAL RUNAWAY

I have made a software fix that gets rid of the annoying ruined prints due to over-cooling and false THERMAL RUNAWAY once and for all. I have only tested on my Mk2, but I see no reason why it should not work on the other variants too. https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk2-s-general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/fix-for-thermal-runaway-problem/
