(Solved) Upgrade Problem: Extruder idle temperature is 144°C

Hi,

after many months of busyness I finally found time to install my MK2S to MK2.5 Upgrade...

Just now I have flashed to the latest firmware and had therefore set the printer on power for the first time.

And I got a problem: the idle Extruder-Temperature shows a constant 144°C readout. I checked the connection and the correct plug is set onto the correct position on the RAMBO.

Has anyone any idea? Is the thermistor wrecked?

Some additional Info

Some additional Info:

The same readout of 144°C when Hotend Thermistor is unplugged.

At ambient Temp the Thermistor has an Ohm-value of about 130 k.

When heating up (set on to 150°C) the Ohm-value drops.

So....Thermistor okay?

Problem solved... but don't know how...

Sorry for my useless thread... 😀

I unplugged every cable and rerouted them inside the RAMBO box (which is kind of tooooo small).

And now the temperature readouts are fine.

Hopefully the final steps of my upgrade will work well...

So what have I learned: Hotend-Thermistor ambient value is 130k Ohm and drops when heated (=NTC). Maybe this is usefull in the future.
