MK2.5S Upgrade -Left Hotend Fan wiring error

I recently finished the installation of the MK2.5S upgrade.  Relatively easy until I updated the firmware.  I got the Extruder Fan error.  I fell for the problem without checking the forums (duh) and ordered a new fan.  Wait 10 days. After installation of extruder fan, I get Left Hotend wiring error.  I order a new Noctua fan and wait 10 days.  I install the new Noctua fan but now I still get the Left Hotend wiring error.  I pull everything apart and check every single wire and connection.  I apply 6v to the fan to make sure it is working.  I don't really know what to check.  I am going to try going back to the original firmware before all of the fan check nonsense and see if that fixes the problem,

Any suggestions?

you can get the fan speed readings under the support menu and you can set the speeds in the settings menu for testing

The fan is never making a connection.  I have removed the cable and supplied power externally and the fan works fine.  Something is wrong with the cable connection at the minirambo board.  The connection seems loose and floppy.  I will try making some new connections to make sure.  I'm afraid I may have damaged the socket in the board when I tightened the door with all of the cables inside.

I tried a third party Noctua fan and still had the error.  I ordered a fan from Prusa, and voila, problem solved.
