Fimware upgrade Times out and fails

Finished the assembly of the MK2.5 upgrade and am now trying to flash the MK2.5 firmware through Slic3r PE. I received the following error:

avrdude done. Thank you.

What I have tried:

  • Different USB ports on the same PC

  • Different PC's

  • Running Slic3r PE as admin (on both PC's)

    • I'm not sure what else I should try at this point, any ideas?

    I had the same problem. Finally solved it. Open a command prompt as administrator.
