Do someone test the assemblies?
Take a look at the two align pins for the printing metal plate... pins and holes are completely disaligned! No test before sending the upgrades? Should I redo the holes? Should I keep te plate untouched and hope that it cannot move during the prints?
I payed a lot for this upgrade and waited months to receive it only to find that it has been engineered so bad!
Very, very disappointed! 😡
Re: Do someone test the assemblies?
Rotate the removable flex steel sheet 180 degrees around Z so the text is at the front and try again. I don't think that one's a Prusa error. Those holes aren't used for alignment during printing.

Re: Do someone test the assemblies?
In the video tutorials for the upgrade, these pins are used to position correctly the plate... the holes and the pins must have been exactly aligned.

Re: Do someone test the assemblies?
Carlo...the smooth plates have notches for aligning the pegs in your picture. The powder coated has a recessed area on the edge of the side opposite (180 degrees) from the holes in your pic. The slanted edges of the recess will guide the plate to its proper position. When properly placed the writing on the steel plate will be right side up so you can read it. I think those holes are for hanging the steel plate so the powder coating can be applied and dried.

Ok, I saw what you mean. Yes, this way works. The manuals should have described this as it could lead to misunderstanding (as happened to me). 😉
Thanks!
