Will prusament come in big-spools finally
To keep the beast fed, will you offer “big spools” like 3 and 10kg spools (and honestly with the big spools an OEM lock on dry box as for those of us in very humid locations with the big spools for a 3-4 day print it matters)?
RE: Will prusament come in big-spools finally
I think that there has to be some kind of dry box kind of system for the reasons you stated. Long prints in humid enviros will almost demand it. Here’s hoping that Prusa keeps it lower cost.

This is a user to user forum, news like this will be released in the proper channels... if there is any news...

I don't know about PrusaMENT, proper, but the US FilamentPM site sells larger spools of some of the same stuff that Prusa sells.
I made the mistake of ordering a 2k spool of the silver-gray that comes with the machine, and it came on this HUGE honking spool about the size of a fire-hose reel. Nothing I had would hold it, even two of the MMU2S roller-holders placed side by side, and I had to tediously re-spool it on empty 1k spools.

Thanks. Nice selection of filaments.

Although they did note the spool holder posts on the XL were noted as holding big spools, and with the recycled prusament 2kg spool I guess we get a preview of how the spool will look (hopefully non-recycled will be wound like a normal prusament wind, rather than the drunk 3-year-old winding their kite back onto the spindle winding it comes in (even companies who don’t do a smooth wind are less chaotic than that.
note to accommodate that spool, you have to print the extended rails for the mini-roller-holder or the larger holder for the mk3 (to be honest for big rolls I have a holder I printed myself that supports a 25mm oak-dowel on bearings that I can put any arbitrary sized spool on within the limits of my wall strength and clearance against the wall (it fits 4x 5kg spools from matterhackers no problem). What I found to use it effectively is to have a small pulley from Home Depot zip-tied to the upper bar of the mk3 filament holder so the filament comes down in the right angle without catching on anything (originally used a printed guide with PTFE tubing in it, but that provided enough restriction resistance that it made everything stringy. Pretty sure a simple smooth metal ring would work equally well

I just printed an enlarged version of my usual holder. Excellent filament.
Cheerio,

You will definitely need a king sized dry box. In my area, a week in the wild makes my need to dry filament.
