Price of accessories
I am a bit nervous of what the price of accessories might be! The XL is already a Pricey though a feature packed machine.
Example:Are the steel and or textured sheets going to be astronomical?
A hint on proposed accessories prices would be nice to know.
I guess that is a bit more important to us that have limited budgets:))

I don't mean this in an offensive manner, so please don't take it that way. I just had a small laugh at being cost-conscious on accessories, when already dropping $2000+ on the printer itself 🙂 A $50 or $100 accessory in comparison seems like a small consideration.

I take your point as well on a side note, glad I could make you laugh (world needs a lot more of that!)
As for only $50 or a $100 for a Plate I am more concerned we are taking $200 plus per steel sheet. A plate for an MK3S costs me $60-$70 (CDN). The XL being 3+ times the square area. Will that translate to 3 times the price (+). We all know if it is larger it costs more, just cause. I am only looking at how much more I need to squirrel away as I would want at least 2-3 sheets. Yes we are all dropping $2000+ on this printer but still why can't we get a ball park on the accessories as we got a price on the printer that is still not finished and could have changes? With Covid we all have that extra time to think :))

I think precisely because it's not finished :). Often times, for myself, I often go 3rd party for accessories, add-ons, and mods, too. So it'll take awhile for those parties to ramp up their own designs and distributions. Maybe some of the have access to pre-production XLs so they are already underway? Hopefully in the next 2-3 months we get more and more insights!

And when you make big prints, because you can now- and they fail for some reason, - or far more likely, the design has to be tweaked and re-printed…
