I love OpenPrintTag
The project is still very fresh. Barely usable. Prusa App even cannot edit NFC chips (only copy existing ones and change weight). But... I already love it. I put OpenPrintTag on all my filaments and I track the weight (looking forward when Prusa App will count it for me... now I have to check current weight of the spool and then subtract weight of the currently printed object). How far are we from a real implementation - let say with INDX and INBXX? Would be great to initially write on the tag and then system would do everything automatically. So my printer always knows which material it is printing with and how much filament is left. Looking forward for the future. 🙂

You can create new tags and edit all fields using the NFC.cool app. iOS version supports OpenPrintTag but not sure if the Android version supports it yet.

I wouldn't hold your breath for the Android version of NFC.cool to support OpenPrintTag in the near future. I asked over on Reddit r/nfc_cool and here is the quick conversation:
Me: Is there any timeline for this functionality to make it to the Android version of NFC.cool?
NFC.cool Developer: Unfortunately not yet, Android has other priorities right now. I appreciate that you ask here. So far I’m just getting bad reviews because people expect me to do it for Android. To everyone reading this: this is demotivating and makes me just angry.
So far I haven't been able to find any NFC app (other than the Prusa app) on Android that can parse OpenPrintTag or write the .bin from the OPT generator.

RE:
Seems like he's updated his blog to make it explicit that it's for iOS: https://www.nfc.cool/post/openprinttag-support-nfc-cool-ios
Before I believe he just made a blanket statement that it is generally available. If people paid for the app (it's not free) expecting Android to be working and he wasn't clear up-front then sure, the reviews are warranted. If on the other hand he was explicit in saying only iOS is supported, well then he has a point.
Anyway, I expect more OpenPrintTag support from Prusa is on it's way once PrusaSlicer 3.0 is released.
