Will the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W also work?

Hi,

as the title says. I would like to know if Prusa Link will also work with the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W right now? It's almost impossible to get a Raspberry Pi Zero W in Germany right know.

Best whishes

Manuel

RE: Will the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W also work?

I have just installed Prusa Link 0.6.0 on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.

It's working just fine. Be sure to have patience on the first boot-up. It is installing and setting up some software.

When you see the IP address on the LCD you should be able to continue to the web interface.

Cheers,

Timo

It works well even when I just switched uSD card from the old version to 2 W with previous version of PrusaLink. I just noticed, that booting time is much faster with the new Zero.

As far as I know, an OS install on ANY Pi will work on any other Pi.

So yeah, it should work with no problems.

Now Pi Zero W is available at exorbitant prices & Pi Zero 2 W not at all.

Whatever you find to do with your hands, do with all your might!

Good afternoon,Are you connecting the RPI W2 through the internal port of the board or through USB? Does the Einsy board support the consumption of RPIw2?

It seems to be running just fine. Altho I have not stressed the PSU or board power wise. I've seen o throttling message in the log here and there but didn't pay atrention to it much.

Is there a spec sheet of maximum power for each power rail and an easy enough way to calculate how much of that is being used already?

The Rpi W2 uses very little power

According to this source, it uses 120mA at 5V (600mW) under full load, which is nothing considering the PSU is 240W.
