I think it depends a lot on the model you print. My experience is that IS does not work well with big top surfaces, it is just not smooth at all

I printed an IS Test too, but there is no ideal Frequency to choose from. I printed this with 110 mm/s.

Those ripples on your X axis are way too excessive. Try to swap the pulleys between the axes and see if the ripples move to the other axis. If yes, then you have a faulty pulley. Replacing it should fix the ripples.
