Translucent prints for lights
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for translucent material (ideally PLA, but oppened to other type of filament) to create lights. I would like to create something similar to those two result.
PLA would be ideal, but I'm just concerned with the possible heat that comes from the bulb.
Any recomendation is welcome,
Thanks in advance
PETG has a higher melting point and generally does translucent better then PLA.
Cheerio,

Also you can use LED lights that are not that hot as classic electric bulbs.
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Yes I was thinking to try first with PLA, and later PETG. PETG needs a drying box right?
Any product recommendation? (either PLA or PETG)
Thanks,

Thanks, but it’s mostly about transparent not translucent material.
I wanted to try the one from filamentum but they are out of stock unfortunatly…
