Small pieces are moved by the print head
Hello,
I wanted to print this USB C cover.
I am totally new to this and just more or less blindly tried it... at about 50% of the print the part moves and the print basically fails.
How do I prevent this from happening?

You don't give us any details of filament, temperatures, layer height, etc. so my Crystal ball says Probably poor first layer or contaminated heat bed.
do you have any of the failures to hand, what does the first layer look like? Pictures help.
can you save a project file, then Zip compress the resultant file, and attach the zip file to your next post, please?

Sorry! It was definitely a first layer/contaminated heat bed issue. I cleaned the bed and only used about 50% speed for the first 2 or 3 layers, which helped a lot. Doesn't really matter how big or small the piece is at if everything is done right, I think.

@jimmy-6 - I also use a brim in nearly every small piece to help with adhesion. And if the piece is quite "thin" I may also increase the heatbed temp a few deg to help even more. One last thing; for "thin" tall pieces the orientation matters so the part is not rocking back and forth with the Y-axis movement. - And yes a clean heatbed is always the #1 solution to adhesion problems
