Is Mini+ steel sheet different from MK3S steel sheet or is mine just a "Monday" sheet?

I have just tried my first layers (firmware and 60x60) print. Afterwards I could not get all filament off the steel sheet. It usually is no problem with my MK3S steel sheet, a bit of dishwasher liquid and it is clean. Whatever I tried with my Mini+ did not work. Although I found advice not to use acetone I tried it. That at least got the remaining very thin layer off the sheet. It feels smooth again but I can still "see" the print. And no, the nozzle was not too low. Any other advice than acetone or could this be a faulty sheet?

Mini Smooth Steel Sheet

My Mini smooth sheet does the same thing, leaves a ghost image of a print.  I was told it is not a problem and so far it is not, I clean it with alcohol, print PLA, and it all works ok.

It's PETG / Plastics mixed with PETG

What filament did you use? Some new PLA copolymers use a bit of PET or PETG to give it a bit of extra strength or temperature resistance.

I've experienced the same issue by switching from PETG to PLA and not purging for an excessive amount of time (You need to do 3+ "Is the correct color extruding?" [ select "No" ] purging operations before the PETG is cleaned fully out of the nozzle)

However, this can be used to your advantage, do you have a PLA part that isn't sticking well? No problem, change to PETG filament, then back to PLA, purge 1-2 times and print your part, the first part will be very hard to remove and might damage the surface, but it will leave a permanent ghost of the print that will stick extremely well. I used that trick to print out a bunch of a particularly tricky PLA print using the old horrid MINDA probe.
