First layer speed

Trying to slow down the first layer, my print is at 0.20 Quality setting.

My print has some letters on the bottom like benchy does but as its trying to draw them they don't stick. My first layer calibration is perfect. And Im having no print issues with object that have not bottom detail

It seems as it moves to each letter the moving is too fast. If I do live adjust and set print speed to 50 it works but I want that kind of speed on my first player setting, I don't want to be adjusting live on each print.

Print Settings > Speed > First layer speed

Cheerio,

I can see that, but what does

Print Settings > Speed > Travel

Print Settings > Speed > First Layer Acceleration

Surely they will impact the results

RE: First layer speed

Turning the front knob is the same as issuing a M220 gcode. It adjusts speeds for all axes (including E) to the specified percentage of whatever the gcode uses. It does not, to the best of my knowledge, adjust acceleration.

Travel speeds shouldn't make much difference, but you can reduce that if you like.

Worth noting that there are acceleration rates for different move types. There's not a gcode command that I'm aware of to adjust all acceleration rates at once akin to M220.
