Blobs On Underside of ASA Print

I'm getting blobs on the underside of an ASA print in features designed for a flat head screw, so basically a small circular overhang.

Suggestions are welcome. Using Prusa Slicer 2.1.1 and firmware 4.04.

Regards,

Mark

I tried with Slicer 2.2.0 and no significant difference. Note that many of the blobs are where layer changes happen, but not all of them.

@marklgoldberg

Looks like random/near seam.  Change this setting

Yes, there are blobs where the seam is, but there are blobs in other places also.

RE: Blobs On Underside of ASA Print

Without seeing your model its hard to debug, but....... the issue gets progressively worse as the hole gets smaller.  Given that the overhang angle is the same all the way up that would suggest that the issue could be heat related.    The time area is smaller and its pumping hot plastic into a smaller and smaller area.  Seeing as ASA profiles usually have the fan on at very low % speeds it is probably tied to cooling.  Could be 'slow down if print time is below' related....

As I say without seeing your project with the model and all its settings its pure guess work.
