Bed Not level, after performed 1st Layer calibration
I am having trouble leveling my bed. I have performed the 1st layer calibration, which looked great. However, as the print gets closer to the LCD the leveling gets consistently worse. I am wondering if it might be that my x-axis carriage is a bit slanted, for the printer was on an unlevel surface until I propped it up yesterday. If so, what do I do?
Also, I am conscious that I might have to do "mesh bed leveling" but I am very afraid of doing that.
Any thoughts?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Caleb
RE: Bed Not level, after performed 1st Layer calibration
I just checked my printer, and yes, it seems like the X-carriage has a slight downward slant to it. It is slanted enough so that the hotend is closer to the bed at farthest from the LCD, and the hotend is farther from the bed closer to the LCD. The difference probably ranges about 0.75 mm, enough to make the bed unlevel.
If this is the problem, how do I fix it?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks again,
Caleb

Thanks for the reply!
Could the printer being on an unlevel surface eventually lead to squaring issues?
I squared the printer and am now eagerly awaiting test print results!
Thanks again for the helpful feedback!
