X axis calibration fail
I hope I’m posting this in the right place!
we had a great 2nd day printing yesterday (once we’d sorted the ptfe tube/jam issues) so this morning I carefully moved the mini upstairs to its main home. Got it set up and ran the calibration and it failed on the x axis. It all looks like it’s moving as it should, we’ve check all the wiring which is fine, the belt feels right and everything freely moves by hand, it auto homes fine, first layer calibration works fine and we’ve even run a quick print (after several retests and fails) and the print was spot on!
anyone got any ideas (please be gentle, me and my lad are both capable of fixing things but may not know the technical terms for things).
thanks!
RE: X axis calibration fail
Turned out the grub screws in the x axis motor were loose. All right now and printing like a champ.
