Why does bed heat when unloading filament
When the mini is cold, and I select the filament unload function, the bed heats up. This seems like something that could/should be corrected in firmware. Am I missing something? Is there a setting I don't know about? Thanks.

No, you're not missing anything. This has been asked many times before and the answer remains the same. It's one of those life mysteries, like why do we have ten toes not twelve.
The hypothesis that makes the most sense to me is that the Great Jo when he created the Prusa firmware intended the printers to be used all the time, so when you unload the printer it will be ready to load filement again and continue printing without having to wait for the bed to heat up.

Thanks. I could see that logic for the load function, but typically I’m unloading after a print and don’t want to leave filament in the machine. Oh well.
