Temperature drops from +20°C in less than a second
Hello,
Since last week, my printer has been having weird temperature issues. Only when printing does the temperature fluctuate greatly.
The room temperature is measured correctly when the printer is turned on and is 20°C. Loading and unloading filament also works without any problems (no temperature drops). Heating up is also normal. Only after starting printing are there very many temperature drops. I have been printing with the same files for the past few weeks and never had any problems. Since last week I cannot get the problem solved. The cooling fan is also still not active to start the cooling).
What I have already tested:
- Wiring of the temperature sensor checked (everything is tight)
- Moved with the wiring to look for bad contact after warming up. No fluctuations on the display.
- Installed firmware 4.4.4 RC1, still the same problem.
Anyone have any ideas what I can test, or is the temperature sensor faulty. What I find strange is that it only occurs during printing.
I made a video and added it to my ondedrive share. Attention is 1.2GB in size: Video OneDrive Share
Thanks in advance for the help.
I suspect your thermistor cable has a broken conductor which goes open circuit occasionally when flexed, or possibly the connector is damaged or has a cracked track.
Cheerio,

I replaced the hotend with a revo micro and the problems were solved. Must indeed have been a bad contact somewhere.
Meanwhile also installed the SuperPinda that I have had lying around for a year and the last revision parts.
