re-aligning the Mini

it seems that my mini is out of alignment after printing a full scale Rail Gun using 0.8 nozzle. I'm having all sorts of problems from uneven filament on the bed, to a 0.25 nozzle filament jamming. even using a 0.4 nozzle gives me uneven filament on the first layer test.

I'm trying to follow https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/xz-axis-skew-correction-mini_158518 as a sort of starting point.

Yet I'm having issues with the images not showing me what I need. for example under the Y-axis section #2 Turn the threaded rod of the Z-axis by hand to move the nozzle closer to the bed (~1mm), so it is almost touching it (purple ruler). where is the z-axis rod that i'm turning by hand?

my nozzle has always required a Live Adjust of 1.7 to 1.9 and I'd like to resolve that.

That's the vertical shaft with trapezoidal thread (the one that moves complete x-axis up and down) -you turn that rod by hand.

And this has nothing to do with (live) Z adjust. The whole chapter is about squaring your printer -so all axes are perpendicular to each other.

Seriously, how many threaded rods are there on the Mini...

To get the Live Z closer to -1, you can move the Super PINDA higher.

The Super PINDA should have about 1.5 mm distance between nozzle and SPINDA, so that you’re around -1 when your Live Z is correct.

Instructions for adjusting it are in Step 16 of https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-replace-superpinda-mini-mini_179912

I put this little helper on Prusaprinters.org to help position the SPINDA: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/57192. Works better than zip ties or credit cards, which have less well-defined heights.
