Prusa mini upgrade
I'd like to attempt printing technical materials like PC and nylon on my Prusa mini; i'd like to avoid swapping the whole extruder.
Could the bondtech heatbreak be enough? I could also make a custom allmetal heatbreak using my lathe... any suggestions?
RE: Prusa mini upgrade
Mini may be able to print those materials without upgrades, albeit I'm not entirely sure.It can reach 280 degrees according to the e-shop and it may already have an all-metal extruder (PTFE tube doesn't reach the nozzle but I can be wrong).
Mine printed TPU without problems, but that's slightly different.

What temperatures do you need to print the filament you are choosing? The problem is unlikely to be the heartbreak with that material. I have a standard heartbreak and I print PC Blend.
