Prusa Link Local Login Credentials

Hello. Since firmware 5.1.0 something has changed with the prusa link local login. Before there was a key to enter the webpage, now there needs to enter a username and a password. Where can i set this credentials?

Not sitting in front of a Mini right now but it should be in the Network section of the LCD menu under Prusa Link.

Formerly known on this forum as @fuchsr -- until all hell broke loose with the forum software...

Thank you! I will have a look at this section in the printers menu, when the current print has finished. 🙂

Hmmm…got the user name. Password is the same, but credentials do not wirk for prusa link.

I downloaded the prusa_printer_settigs.ini. There i can see that the credentials are empty. I am going to fix this, but i guess this is a known bug.

[service::local]

enable = 1

username =

password =

api_key =

I have the same issue. Can't use prusalink after the upgrade to 5.1 as the login credentials are not accepted.

you have to add api key which is visible in the settings of the network configuration, if you have also login window where you have to write some username, i think "maker" is default one...

Yes, that is the issue. When typing in "maker" and the corresponding password found in the prusalink menu on the Mini+ it is NOT accepted, thus I can't get prusalink to work after the upgrade. Previously I could login by typing in the API key.
