OctoPrint/OctoPi issues
I’d like to control my Mini+ with OctoPrint (newest release). However, the Raspberry Pi 4 (4GB) does not connect to the printer via the Micro-USB interface. I already exchanged the Buddy-Board, because the Micro-USB of this board was defective.
With the new board the connection problems still continue. I tried different USB cables as well as another Raspberry Pi 4 board (2GB) but without success. The cables are data cables with premium quality.
Using the same cables with Pronterface on a Windows notebook works without any issues. The Pronterface application can immediately connect to the Mini+. Obviously, the Micro-USB of the new board has no issues.
I have no idea what could be the reason for this problem. I can connect to OctoPrint, but OctoPrint cannot connect to the Mini+ via USB.
I’d appreciate all hints that help me solving the problem.
RE: OctoPrint/OctoPi issues
I am not sure what the problem could be. I have 5 and all 5 work in the micro USB port. Have you connected anything else to the Pi? Is the pi powered with a USB C power block from Raspberry?

RE: OctoPrint/OctoPi issues
There is nothing else connected to the Pi except for the Raspberry Pi camera on one of the three Raspberry Pi boards tested. The Raspberry Pis are all equipped with the original Raspberry Pi power adapter. In the meantime, I also tried a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, but without any success.
I am puzzled that a Windows notebook with Pronterface is having absolutely no issue connecting to the Mini+, while the Raspberry Pis have. To be sure, I also disabled the power pin of the USB connector to prevent any backpower issues, but this also brought no improvement.
