Nozzle of the Mini+ keeps clogging

Hey, the nozzle of my Mini+ keeps clogging. I tried all the different cleaning procedures. They all only worked for a short period:

1. cleaning with PLA, go up to 270 degrees, insert it by hand, go down to 85 degrees, pull it out

2. push with a 1.8 mm metal rod - filament extrudes fine

3. tighten the e-axis under the motor until the filament gets squished to a flat

4. unscrew the nozzle and push a 2 mm drill through the hotend by hand carefully (no problems)

5. push the thin needle bundled with the printer through the nozzle from outside without filament inserted

6. repeat all these procedures multiple times

7. I even tried point 1. but with petg

8. removed the cooled filament out of the backside of the nozzle carefully using 2mm drill by hand

I am stuck right now. Extruding seems normal, so the e-axis is ok. The teflon tubes are all fine and clear. The hotend seems clear, at least after the 2mm drill went thru. During most of these procedures I inserted filament by hand but also using the e-axis does only work for a short period.

I noticed, when filament pushes through the nozzle, it does not come out straight ahead but goes sideways a little. The needle couldn't fix this. Could it be that the nozzle is defect or worn out ? Help me please !

The Mini has some tendency of shrinking the inserted PTFE tube because of heat creep. You can try to replace the hotend PTFE tube and maybe the heatbreak.

But for me, the final solution was to replace the hotend with a Revo Micro.

Thanks for your reply. The Teflon tube inside the hotend was pretty worn out. Replacing it did not work either but I think it was a good idea to replace it. I also replaced the nozzle and now everything is working. After almost 3 years of everyday usage its fine if the hotend needs a fix.

I think some suspicious graphite material rekted the nozzle somehow.
