New Mini, Knob no longer acepting button input

Hi all,

I recently bought a mini, and the first few days of prints have been going great. However, this morning the knob on the LCD stopped accepting button input. So, while it turns and the panel picks up on this, if I press down to select the menu option, it doesn't read anything.

Anyone know how to fix this, or if I need a new panel?

Here's a video of the issue:

how old is the printer? if less than a year, have a word with Prusa Chat, on the e shop page.....    Please be aware the chat button takes a couple of seconds to appear...

is the back of the knob hitting the case?
maybe you need to pull the knob off and put a small spacer in the hole where the shaft goes.

So I just checked and the spacing appears to be fine.

Apparently it is actually accepting input, the knob just needs to be held down for far longer that it did previously, closer to 1-2 seconds rather than a single press.

Basically brand new, ordered from the site a month ago and it arrived a couple of days ago, so I think I'll do that.

Thanks!

Similar problem. Sometimes the knob click works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it clicks several times.

Possibly a dirty contact.  Try a squirt of switch cleaner.

Cheerio,

RE:

I had the same problem and found a solution. I pulled out the cord from the socket carefully on the back of the display, plugged it back in, turned off the printer, waited five seconds, and then turned the printer back on.
