[Need help] - Part of layer printed correctly, part of it looks like not extruded correctly.

Hello,

I am having problems with my Prusa Mini printer - to me, it looks like part of the layer is not printed correctly - on the first photo, you can see several correctly extruded lines and then several incorrectly extruded lines, in a repeating pattern. The ones incorrect look very thin. There are also some lose strands (I was printing few of those pieces next to each other. On the second photo, you can see the top - again, the same situation with some lines being printed correctly, and few of the are again too thin. The third photo shows that the loose strands in the middle of printed object that are very easy to tear out of the print: It just tore them out with a fingernail. It feels like they do not stick to the each other (and nor the printbed) at all! They are attached just to the ends of the printed circle.

Sometime ago, I experienced clogged nozzle and the stepper motor feeding the filament in the nozzle was clicking. I did cold pull and it felt like it resolved the issue, but after a while, I started experiencing the following things on photos. I am using 0.25mm nozzle. So, I have question: Is this again clogged nozzle? Or does it look like some other problem with the printer?

Thank you very much, Vonhye

Is that third picture the bottom of your print? In which case your nozzle is way too high. Maybe you can post a picture of your calibration square.

Hello, thank you for your input. I run the first layer calibration sequence again, this time purposely setting the nozzle lower than I would like, just to see if the issue is resolved or it is different. Result can be observed below: There are still two distinct patterns to be seen in the final calibration square: Middle of it, it is nicely flat, while it non-flat on the sides. First picture shows this against the light.

Second picture: In the middle it is flatter (and more transparent), while on the sides it looks blacker. it can't be seen on the photo, but you can partially see the green print sheet showing through. Only tine wee bit, but I can see it.

Second set of the images: I set the nozzle higher this time. Pattern is less visible now. But maybe the nozzle was bit too high this time? What do you think?

I was wondering, can't this be an issue of dust being caught somewhere in the machine? I have the printer in my living room and only covered by plastic bag and I feel it is bit dusty, and the filament is left being uncovered completely and there is also some dust at it... I also heard something loudly click somewhere near the filament feeder, two or three times, while adjusting the nozzle height.

Thank you very much for any advise, best regards, Vonhye.
