MINI won´t boot to menu from cold
Since i´ve flashed the 5.1.2 update onto my printer, i have a very weird problem, where the printer won´t boot fully. It will load the firmware (bar goes to 100%), it completes the short fan self test at startup (fans stop spinning), but it w´ont beep and it w´ont go to the menu. An immediate reboot doesn´t fix it, but if i leave the printer in that state for at least a couple minutes it will boot fully, and as far as i can tell, seems fine and prints.
If a USB stick with the 5.1.2 firmware is connected at cold boot, it will reflash that, but still gets stuck when booting. But same as above, if i leave it for a bit, then reboot, it boots to menu as expected without reflashing.

Having this same issue. About 2/3 of the time it will hang on the loading bar screen at the very end. It does not seem to matter if the USB stick is inserted or not. I have reflashed the old firmware (which works fine) and then reflashed 5.1.2 and the issue returns.

I am having this issue as well. I cannot get past the bar loading screen.

I worked with support to resolve this. I flashed 4.4.1 firmware and buddy board file. Both were on the USB. I was not able to get both files flashed until I performed the "alternate method". I didn't have any errors or problems that would indicate that I had to use the alternate method, but that is the way that it worked.
It also helps to check the version info after each attempt to flash the FW. It's the only indication if the firmware flash was successful.

After flashing both files from the 4.4.1 firmware, i was then able to update to the 5.1.2 firmware. Again using the alternate firmware flash method.
I downloaded the 5.1.2 firmware zip file, deleted the 2 .bbf files on the usb, then copied over all the files in the extracted 5.1.2 folder. those files must be on the root directory.
then reset and double pressed the knob to get to the flash the firmware screen.
I was then able to get to 5.1.2 FW

I also contacted support last week, and they told me to wait for 5.1.3 and downgrade to 5.1.0 in the meantime. 5.1.3 hasnt been released for the MINI yet, according to support that should happen in the "next couple days".
