Mini no longer recognizes USB drives
Attempting to upgrade the firmware (Currently on 4.3.1)
Trying to update to 4.41 initially. Using the usb drive that came with the Mini. I get Error #2 on restart with doubble press of the select button. No double press the 4.3.1 firmware loads but says No USB drive.
Tried 2 other usbdrives formatted FAT32 with identical results. What should I try next?

I've tried all but the "update firmware" suggestion. Updating the firmware is what I was attempting to do when I noticed that my mini wasn't ever seeing the USB drive.
I've tried multiple USB drives, including the one that came with the mini. I've formatted as FAT32. And still they are not recognized.

My bootloader version is 1.0.0 in case that matters.

Decided to punt and ordered a replacement Buddy Board.

Replaced the Buddy Board and I can once again read USB drives.

So probably USB port was damaged.

Solder joints for the port all look clean. Contact points in the port look good as well. Labeled the board as "bad usb port" and stored it away as an emergency spare.
