[Risolto] Melted Connector

Melted Connector

As you can see, the connecter to my heated has melted and I cannot unscrew 1/2 screws now. The Heatbed no longer heats up either. Do I need to buy a new heatbed and connector? My warranty period is over. What can I do in the future to prevent this?
