Material Discrepancies (beginner)

Hi. I am new with Prusa, using a Mini at work, and I realized although PrusaSlicer is set to PETG

The Printer shows PLA in the settings. Still seems to work fine, but I wonder if it will work better using the proper material settings.

I believe the printer setting is a memory jogger to encourage you to selectt he correct filament settings in Prusa slicer...

Similar to the nozzle size check.

As far as I am aware the printer does not change the settings relative to the slicer defined filament

Personally I find the LCD prompt confusing and irritating..

However I have also set slicer to PLA, and installed PETG filament on the printer, and then wondered why I was getting print fails.
